Medical Imaging / Radiology

Not so long ago an X-ray was used to diagnose a broken bone. That was about the extent of what a radiologist could do.
Today our medical imaging department can use technologies ranging from nuclear medicine to computed tomography (CT) to find tumors, blood clots, strokes, gastrointestinal conditions and much more.
Our team consists of radiologists and technologists. The skills possessed by these individuals are the result of years of training, education and experience. Our staff is involved in hundreds of hours of continuing study annually.
And what can we do with this combination of technology and expertise?
- Computerized Tomography (CT)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear medicine
- Breast imaging
- Fluoroscopic procedures
- General radiological studies
- Bone Density Studies
Additionally, we use Tele/radiology for rapid readings by radiologists.
Our Medical Imaging department is staffed 24 hours a day for general and CT services. If you have questions about medical imaging services available at Paulding County Hospital talk with your physician or call 419.399.4080 and ask for medical imaging.
