Life has funny way of sneaking up on you. Sometimes your family has urgent medical needs when your doctor's not in. That's where Prime Care urgent care comes in.
When you need to see a doctor, but yours isn't available and you're not sure you need the emergency room, Prime Care is here.
Located at Paulding County Hospital in the Emergency Department, Prime Care is available 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. everyday, even weekends and holidays. You must have an appointment. Call the hospital (419.399.4080) to schedule one.
Prime Care is staffed by emergency physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals. All the services of the hospital, including lab and medical imaging, are on-site and available to meet your needs.
If you use Prime Care you will receive two bills, one from the physicians and one from the hospital. Typically, Prime Care is less expensive than the Emergency Room, but more expensive than a visit to your doctor's office. Many insurance companies cover part or all of your Prime Care visit; check with your provider.
