When you need to see a doctor, but yours isn't available and you're not sure you need the emergency room, Urgent Care is here.
Located at Paulding County Hospital in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care is available 24/7 everyday, even weekends and holidays. You do not need an appointment. Call the hospital (419.399.4080) with any questions
Paulding County Hospital Urgent Care is staffed by emergency physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals. All the services of the hospital, including lab and medical imaging, are on-site and available to meet your needs.
If you use Urgent Care you will receive two bills, one from the physicians and one from the hospital. Typically, Urgent Care is less expensive than the Emergency Room, more similiar to a visit to your doctor's office. Urgent Care charges will apply is your illness or condition is similiar to a physician's office visit. If any diagnostic testing is performed, emergency room charges will apply. Most insurance companies cover part or all of your Urgent Care visit; check with your provider.
