Patient Satisfaction
Compliments and Concerns
The staff and management of Paulding County Hospital welcome your comments regarding our services and personnel. Please feel free to inform us of your feelings and opinions. Our goal is to provide you with quality service. We need to hear about those things that you like and those things which were less than satisfactory in order to constantly improve.
If you have an immediate concern about patient care and safety, you are encouraged to communicate this to any of the following:
- The person providing you with service.
- The “charge” nurse, nurse manager, or manager of the service involved.
- The Guest Relations Coordinator who can be reached at ext. 138.
If any of these have not satisfied your concern, notify administration at 419-399-4080. After these steps have been taken, if your concern has not been ad-dressed to your satisfaction, you may contact the Joint Commission’s Office of Quality Monitoring to report any concern or register complaints about a Joint Commission accredited health care organization by calling 1-800-994-6610 or emailing complaint@jcaho.org.
Paulding County Hospital subscribes to voluntary “Standards of Excellence.” Your comments and constructive concerns will help us achieve our goal to continually improving the quality of our services. Your presentation of a concern will not jeopardize the future availability of care or services from us.
The Guest Relations Department makes random patient satisfaction phone call surveys to patients who use hospital services. The phone survey includes only a few questions and the entire phone call can last less than a minute, unless the patient takes more time to elaborate. Paulding County Hospital appreciates your input and many changes and improvements have taken place in the hospital in response to patient input from these satisfaction surveys.
