Open Positions

Temporary Health Care Screener

Healthcare Screeners play a critical role in ensuring we follow and meet established CDC guidelines as well as internal procedures. These positions will be Monday-Saturday Day shift positions.

Responsibilities include:  Screen incoming colleagues, providers, vendors and visitors to ensure they meet the criteria for entry. This will include checking temperatures, asking specific questions to identify any concerns, and escalating such concerns appropriately based on approved protocols. You will also be responsible to document and maintain screening information as necessary.

The positions are classified as Temporary, with an anticipated end date of April 2021.  We are hiring for Day Shift and have both F/T and P/T opportunities available.

As a condition of employment for this role, you may be asked to float to various departments, including rehab, outpatient registration, dietary, and/or housekeeping.

 

Temporary CMA or LPN

Temporary CMA or LPN to work in the Paulding County Hospital Respiratory Clinic.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st shift hours.

**Position is temporary and expected to last until approximately April 2021.**

 

Respiratory Therapist

Description: Performs routine respiratory care and cardiopulmonary procedures and resuscitation techniques including arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.

Requirements: Registered or Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).  Licensed by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.  CPR Certification

Opening: Full time — 4, 10-hour shifts, 2nd shift hours

Labratory- Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician

Description: Performs all analytical procedures in the laboratory in the specialties of chemistry, serology, hematology, blood banking, urinalysis, microbiology, coagulation, and body fluid analysis. Collects blood samples from inpatients and outpatients.

Requirements: Must be registered Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician, ASCP or HHS approved or equivalent.

Sign on bonus available.

Schedule:  Full Time- (7P-7A)

Registered Nurse (Emergency Department)

Description: Professional nurse, who, plans, directs, and coordinates all activities concerning the patient’s care.  Collaborates with the physician and all members of the healthcare team in developing a plan of care in the Emergency Department.

Requirements: Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse Licensure, Current BLS Certification, Current ACLS/PALS Certification (or achieved within first 6 months)

Schedule: Full Time (every third weekend) 7P – 7A and 3P – 3A

Registered Nurse (Med-Surg Unit)

Description: Professional nurse, who, plans, directs, and coordinates all activities concerning the patient’s care.  Collaborates with the physician and all members of the healthcare team in developing an individualized plan of care in the Med-Surg Unit.

Requirements: Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse Licensure, Current BLS Certification, Current ACLS/PALS Certification (or achieved within first 6 months)

Schedule: Part time (every third weekend) 7P – 7A and 7A – 7P 

Dietary Aide

Description: Responsible for preparing food for patients, staff, and guests and special functions.  Performs a variety of routine tasks in kitchen, tray line, and dishwashing areas.

Requirements: High school education or equivalent. Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety.

Schedule: Part-Time (0.5) – 20 hours a week

Housekeeping

Description: Responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas and outside offices/clinics. Willing to perform routine tasks on a continuous basis as assigned by the department manager.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.

Schedule: PRN – As Needed
