PCH Board of Trustees Public Notice

The Paulding County Hospital Board of Trustees meetings for 2024 / 2025 will be held the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Paulding County Hospital Education Room except for July and January.

Annual Organizational Meeting will be held in March.

Paulding County Hospital CT Project Open House

Join us on FRIDAY, FEB. 10, 2023 from 10 a.m. to noon for an open house to celebrate the completion of our 2022 CT project.

Come see our new state-of-the-art CT equipment and renovated clinic treatment rooms.

Ribbon cutting will take place 10 a.m. inside the Paulding County Hospital Main Entrance #1.

 

Paulding County Hospital surgery department nurses receive national recognition

February 21, 2022- Paulding, Ohio- Paulding County Hospital is pleased to announce that our Surgical Department has been awarded the 2022 CNOR Strong Award. This award was given by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI), a nationally accredited organization that focuses on perioperative professional certification for nurses.

Over fifty percent of the Paulding County Hospital Surgery Department nurses are Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credentialed. Earning this designation demonstrates a facility-wide commitment to nursing excellence, the highest standards in patient safety and outstanding patient care.

Established in 1979, CCI is one of the largest specialty nursing credentialing organizations. The mission of CCI is to lead competency credentialing that promotes safe, quality patient care and that supports lifelong learning.

Paulding County Hospital and Antwerp Regional Medical Center fitness centers reopening

Paulding County Hospital Fitness Center and Antwerp Regional Medical Center Fitness Center will both reopen beginning on Tuesday, May 26 at noon. Additional guidelines have been put in place at both facilities to remain compliant with Ohio Department of Health Responsible RestartOhio Guidelines. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The guidelines are as follows:

  • Paulding County Hospital and Antwerp Regional Health Center Fitness Centers will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 at noon, and will remain open until 10:00 p.m.
    • Both facilities will then resume regular operating hours on Wednesday, May 27 (5:00 am-10:00 pm; 24/7).
  • All patrons entering the facilities during regular operating hours will be required to go through a screening process. Self-monitoring prior to arrival is required.
    • All patrons utilizing the fitness center outside of regular clinic operating hours, will be required to self-monitor.
      • This is to be completed prior to arrival and all patrons must document their temperature.
  • Social distancing guidelines will be enforced within both facilities to remain compliant with Ohio Department of Health guidelines.
    • Both facilities are sectioned off and equipment has been spaced out to allow for 6 ft between patrons. Please help us maintain the 6 ft social distancing guidelines.
  • Upon entering Paulding County Hospital and any clinic location, a mask is required to be worn. Please remember to bring your mask from home.
    • Once you are inside the fitness center, we highly encourage you to continue to wear a face mask. We are not requiring that you wear a mask inside the fitness center at this time, it is optional.
  • Each patron will be required to wipe down all equipment they use prior to and after using each piece of equipment.
    • Follow the cleaning instructions inside the facility. Please do not spray cleaner directly onto the equipment.
  • No more than a maximum of 15 individuals will be allowed in the Paulding County Hospital Fitness Center at one time.
    • Please be mindful of your time spent within the fitness center as others may be waiting to use the fitness facilities.
    • If the maximum number of occupants are already inside the fitness center, we ask that you not wait inside the hospital to use the fitness center. Please see the individual at the front entrance for further direction.
  • No more than a maximum of 6 individuals will be allowed in the Antwerp Regional Fitness Center at one time.
    • Please be mindful of your time within the facility as others may be waiting to use the fitness facilities.
    • If the maximum number of occupants are already inside the facility, we ask that you not wait inside the clinic to use the fitness center.

Self-Monitoring Guidelines

If you have any of the symptoms listed below, you are not to enter either fitness center for exercise purposes.

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever above 100.4
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • In contact with an individual that is positive or suspected positive of COVID-19

In recognition of National Hospital Week we extend our sincerest gratitude to all of the Board of Directors, Medical Staff, hospital employees and volunteers. Each of these dedicated men and women play an important role in our success of providing excellent care to our neighbors, friends and families.

During these difficult times we find ourselves in, you can really see how a community comes together and cares for one another. We are proud to part of a community that fosters generosity, compassion and hope. We appreciate the countless hours spent sewing cloth masks, creating face shields, fabricating intubation boxes to help protect our staff.
