Dr. Nauman Shahid leads the oncology/hematology department at Paulding County Hospital, specializing in all types of blood disorders and cancers. Our services include:

All nurses who administer chemotherapy are chemo certified, bringing a deeper level of knowledge and understanding to each patient’s experience. Our team prides itself on providing one-on-one attention to each patient, empowering them with information on their chemotherapy regimen and disease process.
The oncology department is also designed to help bring patients comfort throughout their cancer treatment journey. Each private chemotherapy room is equipped with a bedside wall board, television and iPad so patients can review educational information or unwind with some entertainment. Meals, snacks and drinks are available upon request to ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible.
